Day 1 (27-4-2014)

Arrived at Juanda International Airport at around 6.00 pm local time after 2 ½ hour flight from Johore Bahru. Immigration clearance was fast and our hired driver was there waiting for us. Another 2 ½ hour drive, we soon arrived at Malang and had a short city tour before checking in Ibis Style Hotel Malang.

Hualien, Taroko, Cing Jing, Hehuangshan  and Taipei  2014 CNY Getaway!

We didn’t go anywhere for 2013 CNY as Wei Juan and Jung Ing were too busy with their work schedule. We just had a quiet and peaceful CNY at home. So this year we really wanted to go somewhere to unwind ourselves.  Xin was unable to join us as she had to go back to her in-laws for CNY. However we have one new member Jung Ing  with us this year.

Day 7

After breakfast, it was a long drive into Slovakia, a country featuring natural landscapes, mountains, caves, medieval castles and towns, folk architecture, spas and ski resorts. We enjoyed the drive through the green Bohemian countryside. We didn’t stay overnight in Slovakia, only stopped for lunch in Banska, the 6th largest  city of Slovakia. The main economic activity of Banska is copper mining and tourism. It is a ski paradise with lots of ski resorts.

Day 4

From Slovenia, we went back to Austria again. Austria is the most developed country in Eastern Europe. We arrived at Graz, capital of the Province of Styria. We had a short walking tour through the old center of Graz before we proceeded to Vienna, the capital city of Austria. The city of Graz is very clean. Like many of the European countries, the main transportation is electric train.

Day 1

Arrived at KLIA from Senai. While waiting at KLIA, suddenly heard some youngsters screaming and shouting at the airport. Later I was told that it was due to the arrival of K-pop group ‘Super Junior’. Anyway, I am not a K-pop fan, so didn’t bother to look at them.

Reached Dubai International Airport after around 6 ½ hrs by Emirates on transit to Munich, Germany.

Has been searching for a house for quite some time.. I felt this is the time to start my own family.. hehe

I know the price of houses are at peak now, but I'm not buying for speculation etc, so I don't really think it will affect me much

Day 3, woke up in morning to see sunrise..

Luck wasn’t really good.. the sun was blocked by thick cloud.. haha

Next day morning, woke up and took our breakfast and ready to go! It’s a nice 4 star resort! I would definitely recommend this resort!...

Booked MAS return ticket almost last minute which cost RM500 per pax, then did a quick research on the local tour and booked Happy Holiday tour which cost Rm500 per pax including hotel.

From JB to KL and KL to Medan both took us 45 minutes each. No proper meal in MAS.

Reached Medan at 8.50am and our driver Uncle Jep took us to our around Medan.

Our “Kijang” which is actually Toyota Innova!
