The story is based on a fiction novel by Charles Dicken.

Please be reminded that it is a 3D animation movie before you go to the cinema, because that's what misled me. From the poster I always thought it was a real movie starring Jim Carrey until I saw the trailer while queuing to buy the tickets. Its a bit of a let down really, not able to watch Jim Carrey's acting. Anyway, its still Jim Carrey and being one of my favourite actor, how can I let it go?

The plot is quite similar to the recent movie Ghost of Girlfriends Past with the past-present-future-ghosts thingy. Frankly, the story is kinda boring at the beginning, proceeding slow. You can see how stingy that old man can be, and bla bla bla. Nevertheless, I have got to say that the ending is superb. Its a happy ending, as one can expect, but it truly brings out the happiness feeling inside of you, which is rare. For most movie ending maybe you will feel the way 'oh. Happy ending. Expected lo.' without getting to feel the happiness.
