Romance comedy dont always get high rating in IMDB but this one.. this particular one, got a rating of 8.1/10 with near 30k of votes!

From the movie name, you might think that its a story about how a guy spend his summer loving someone? You do know that 500 days is more than a year, so there's no summer with days more than 500 in a year right? Oh, whatever I am saying, I can barely understand myself.

The movie adapts narrating-style with a narrator telling of the story between a guy, Tom and a girl, Summer. In the beginning of the movie, the narrator claims that this is not a love story. Very nice. Because this is actually a story about love, and well, they are 2 different thing.

Tom is a guy who believes he will never truly be happy until the day he met "the one" while Summer on the other hand does not believe in love. By chance they met, share their life with each other for a moment until Summer decided to cut it off. Watch how the story progress with the scenes jumping to future or back to the past.

In short, this is a very unique 'story of love' with a high rating. Oh, and true to life too! You will often find people who thinks like Tom (me, for example, some part, sometimes) or thinks like Summer.

Totally recommended by me to watch it!
