Lim Swee Kuan, the newly-appointed political secretary to Ean Yong Hian Wah, is unperturbed by the events that led to his predecessor Teoh Beng Hock's death.

His appointment was announced by Ean Yong, the Seri Kembangan assemblyperson, at a press statement today. "I believe that Lim would adapt quickly to the working environment," said Ean Yong.

Lim (below), whose name means "auspicious light" in Chinese, will be on three-year stint at the DAP's head office in Shah Alam.

He replaces the late Teoh following the latter's death in July. Teoh was found dead on the fifth floor of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters in Shah Alam.
