School and Sarawak

Self-proclaimed masterpiece taken by me during this trip to Sarawak.

Few more days later and it will be another new semester.

How will be my result for last sem?

How will be my result for the next sem?

Hmm.

I really got no inspiration to blog about my trip to Sarawak now that few days have passed since I came back.

There was this one very funny incident that I must share though.

On the 4th day, we went to a famous crocodile farm at Sarawak, Jong's Crocodile Farm. There was this crocodile which was resting, very near to the fence, as shown at the photo below.

Me taking photo with this crocodile.

A few of us take turns taking photo with this crocodile and while its Mun Loong turns, I was the camera-man. I take a few steps back to have a good view and suddenly the crocodile snapped. It tried to eat Mun Loong, with the fence in the middle of course, if you can imagine.

I witnessed the whole scene and I gotta tell you its so scary but funny. I screamed when the crocodile snapped. In 0.1 sec its mouth is stuck at the fence already and Mun Loong was running for his life. After that he was so afraid that his ball shrunk whenever he's close to another crocodile.

This is Mun Loong, reluctantly trying to take a photo with another crocodile.

Since I already started writing about Sarawak, I might as well continue.

The trip was fun. Really fun, with my coursemates. We kinda booked the ticket one year earlier during some promotion period, costed RM70 two ways. We got a friend, Jeffrey who is a Kuching local, and he brought us to a lot of popular places to eat.

Other than foods, we visited Gunung Gading, Tasik Biru, Sarawak Cultural Village, and of course, the crocodile farm.

Group photo taken at Sarawak Cultural Village.

Backpack travel is so much more fun than normal trip, because you can go wherever you want, as long as you know how, and provided that you have the transport.

Will certainly do another one sometimes later :)
