Its another movie starring Sam Worthington from Terminator Salvation and also Avatar. Got to say, he did well in this movie too.
The attraction point IMO for this movie is Medusa the Gorgon and the Kraken. Comparing Medusa from Clash of the Titans and the Medusa from Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, the one in this movie is more realistic, where Medusa is actually portrayed in snake-form, not a modern lady with sun-glasses and black tight-fit suit. Anyhow, this one actually resembles the actual Greek-mythology in the old times while Percy is actually fiction where the timeline is our modern age.
Nowadays one can only complain about the sceneries to be too realistic because everything is basically created with computers. The sceneries are not as grand as those in Avatar but nevertheless, they does looks alike like those described in the novels with all the mountains and the seas and the ancients building and statues.
Wow.
The fighting scenes in this movie are not exaggerated and the graphics are real nice. One might complain the fight with Kraken ended way too soon without much fight though. Compared with Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief where the sword scenes actually sucked, Clash of the Titans is perfect. Action wise, the storyline is quite similar with Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, bear that in mind.
Watch it if you like Greek-mythologies!
p/s: I have been lazy to post several movies I watched recently, such as How to Train your Dragon, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thieft, From Paris With Love. I might write about them when I feel like it.
