Today, the paintball competition has finally begin. Yesterday was just field walk and briefing. Today is actually the Day 1 of the competition but I call it day 2 because this is the 2nd day I went to Dataran Pahlawan for the competition stuff.

1st of all, paintball is a sport! Agree?

2nd, paintball is a sport that requires a lot of money to be spend! (Different story if get sponsor la..)

Every sport requires money for equipment so why do I still say so?

Because, every pellet of paintball you shot cost money!

Let's count.. RM 200 for a box with 2000 pellets. 5 person in a team so we divide and each need to pay RM 40. Registration fees, RM 50. Price to make the ID tag, RM 10. Basically before we even start paying, we need to pay RM 100 already.

1st match.. All members of my team, Screwball managed to eliminated all opponents. We get the opponent's flag back to our base in time so we won. 100 points (full). I was shot in the middle of the game from far range. The pellet hit my left rip but didnt burst so the marshall let me continue the game.

2nd match.. With some teamwork, we eliminated 3 opponents. The situation was 5 vs 2. Due to some unforseen reason, we were backstabbed by 1 of the opponent. All 5 of us were shot and eliminated. They won. We got 12 points only for killing 3 of them. In this match, I was hit 3 times. One in the head (lucky I was on face-mask so no scar or swollen part), one in my left arm, one in my left side butt (not so appropriate to take photo and show you la XD). Frankly, it is very painful being shot from middle range.

3rd match.. Screwball vs Strike-P. Strike-P forfeited due to lack of members. We won. 95 points were given to us. No particular photo taken.

4th match.. Screwball vs EJPC. Both team were not so accurate to begin with but with some luck, EJPC managed to 'screwed' all 5 of us out and they only sacrificed 2 members of them. In this game, our captain Screwball #1 Kaito ran out of pellet in the middle of the game so what he can do is wait there for opponent to spot and shoot him. He was shot a few times from close range.

Anyway, lets take a look at more photos I took today.

Except the bare foot and the sunglasses, this is my war-wear. Navy-blue long sleeve with a black cargo. Taken at home.

This is the old Nike basketball shoes of mine. I glued the bottom of the shoes with superglue so its still wearable. This is what I wear for the war today.

This is the ground of the war-field. So many pellets, burst or un-burst.

Why dont want to pick up and use it as our own? The pellets, you see, when exposed to sun will go 'lembik'. When you load it in your "marker" (the gun), it might burst before it is shoot out. The whole gun will then spoil and need to be repaired! Wanna take the risk for some RM 0.10 pellet?

The pellets. Its like 1cm in diameter big. Just throw it to your body also you can feel the pain already. Shot by it with the speed of 300 ft/s? I will show you what its like down there!

This is called "port". RM 5 for one second hand "port". It is used to fill up with pellets and carry with you in the middle of the game, for reloading purpose. 1 pro will normally carry more than 5 ports. Us? Each person one. And I didnt even use it in all the games =.=

By the way, we were ranked no. 14 in the league of Division 4 (the Young Guns) so.... Screwball managed to squeeze themselves into 'Sweet 16' (top 16)!

That means we will be playing again tomorrow!
