I came back to my hometown~
Coincidentally, it is the ninth month in the lunar calendar.
There is this celebration of one of the god, the ninth god, so, every night, there would be performance, ranging from singing till those Chinese opera drama performance.
I only went for the celebration for one day for now. To my despair, I found that the younger generations are on loose end. Their attitude, behavior, dress code, everything just show me that how much this world is changing. For instance, is it, a girl only considered pretty or nice when they are showing off their asset? (If only they own it too) young girls, doesn’t matter, they own the asset, and they are just busy showing off their boots. Give me a break man… you are only in secondary, how old are you? How many years you are going to show off your boots? Is it because they watch too much western movies? Influence by them? I don’t think so; they hardly know any English movie… so, what influence them?

I think there are a few factors that cause today’s situation.
First of all, the parents teaching. Some parents let their child choose what they want to wear, and this freedom is given too much, without any limit. A 15 years old girl, not even grown properly, can’t wait to show off her asset, which is only the lingerie, this is just so pathetic. Where are her parents? Couldn’t they care less?
Secondly, influence by mass media. We always blame that we are influence by the western movies, yet, how many out there is really watching western movies? Maybe, we should not look so far, some Hong Kong soap opera, Taiwanese Idol, Japanese and Korean drama, had to take up responsibilities too. Idol and singers nowadays portrayed a trend, that sexy can only be achieve by wearing clothes with less cloth. This is so not true. Sexy is just an expression, to be attractive, sexy is not the only way, it is the fastest way though, not necessary the ever lasting way.
After that, we shall see what the society had in mind nowadays. People think that raping happens because girls like to wear clothes that will increase guy’s sex desire; yet, they show the appreciation to girls when they wear sexily. Maybe this is the leading cause for young girls to lose their minds and have a wrong mindset. I personally think that sexy does not mean that the girl needs to show off their certain asset!
