Finally feeling the boredom of this holiday. 9 more days to next semester, which means results release date is around the corner too. I have to say... I am feeling nervous-zero. I wonder why. 1st week of holiday I was still enjoying. 2nd week, I enjoyed half of it, with the rest of the week feeling super bored. Maybe cause I quit 赤壁 so I got nothing to do? Maybe.. But glad that I dont need to get myself playing game every moment I sit in front of my computer.

Anyway, after some hustle, I am officially playing and enjoying NBA 2K9. Downloaded Been finding it for 66 hours yet there was error with the game because of wrong uploaded crack file. Took another 44 hours to download find another version of the game and while the progress approaches 100%, I found a replacement crack solution that enables me to play. So basically, I downloaded got 2 version of the game installer and I deleted the previous one.

My review on the game: Jeng (fantastic)!

Comparing this NBA 2K9 with all the previous EA released LIVE series I've played, NBA 2K9 triumph them all from features to graphic and gameplay. For the graphic part where all games' graphic should evolved every newer series, you cant actually compare NBA 2K9 with NBA Live 08 (and 07, 06 etc) but I read somewhere that NBA 2K9 (not sure Xbox or PC) still pawn NBA Live 09 (definitely Xbox, as there is no PC version for Live 09) in graphics. Lazy to find the screenshot but maybe I will post it some other time.

Gameplay part, EA still lose. Maybe because I never play 2K series before, I felt that NBA 2K9 is complicated in control and hard to play; on the other hand, this is what you call fun in playing a game. NBA Live series were getting worse every year and I am not sure how they've evolved this year, but playing NBA 2K9 really gives different gaming experience. It is just so realistic! From individual player movement and action to the teamworks and team strategies, it is very similar to the real game. I have never felt like this before playing NBA Live series.

Honestly, I still cant master the game yet. Still taking my time to learn all the moves in 'Practice mode' and occasionally try 'Quick game' to see whether I've improved or not. Crossover, posting up, dunking, layup, shooting, passing, every single details in a basketball game, you need to find your way to master them using keyboard/joystick in NBA 2K9! Playing with keyboard will never be as much fun and flexible in NBA 2K9 I assure you XD.

Go go NBA 2K9!
