Final exam is here again. After going through a gruelling 6 months, it’s time to put what we have learned to test. As we near the date of the first paper, the pressure for many of us must have been building up considerably. Thus at times like this it is important for us to handle the pressure well so as to ensure it won’t affect our performance. After all we don’t all the hard work to go down the drain just like that right?
Some tips to handle pressure and stress:
- Handle 1 subject at a time. Prepare a timetable accordingly so you will have ample time to prepare for each paper instead of jumbling everything together at the same time.Similarly in between chapters take regular break so what you have gone through will stay in your cerebrum.
- Have a balanced meal and don’t over eat. Drink plenty of water, plain water, take note of that.
- Sleep properly. Its time to stop your late night MSN and Counterstrike and hit the bed by 12 am. You will feel rejuvenated in the morning and your brain will better grasp what you are reading.
The most important thing to remember is not to over pressure yourself and learn to take it easy. On that note, ENGSOC wishes all MMU student the best of luck in this coming finals.
