Yesterday, my sayang came back from Sungai Petani.
Since we were quite free at the evening, we decided to watch a movie after she settled her assignment. So which movie we picked? After considering for a while, we decided to watch "Taken". (A movie recommended by Justin, Edward, Sing Soon)
At least, there was not much risk taken since their feedbacks were all positive.

"Taken" (MBO Cinema, 10.45pm)
It's a story about the love of the father towards his beloved daughter.
A love that doesn't expect any return. A love that is willing to sacrifice everything.
The movie plot is actually simple. The father's daughter get kidnapped by people, and he is on his adventure to save her. However, it is indeed a great movie. How?
First of all, the cost of the movie is obviously lower than any other big production.
Thus, do not expect any big explosion scene, helicopter chasing or plane crash scene in this movie. Though not having all these "wow-effect" scenes, but all the scene in this movie are solidly filmed. Even a normal fighting scene, it is filmed very neat and the effects are very impactful. Other than that, it is the wisdom of the father that really thrilled us.
From no clue at all until the the father successfully save his daughter. The entire process is very exciting.
When i saw the early part of the movie, i realized that i actually downloaded the movie before. But since the quality was so bad i decided not to watch it. (In fact i only saw the first 5 mins that time) I thought it was an alien adopting invasion movie at that time. (also the reason why i downloaded. very interested in alien movie) But, now i know it is not. It's a movie showing a father's noble love. The father (the actor) is not handsome. So, for girls out there who expect to see Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise standard, please don't go. But you will subsequently like the character (the father) too. Because he very "yeng"（有型) when he fight in the movie. LOL

Ok, don't disclose too much. That's all i can say about the movie.
After the movie, where we went? Like always, the same old place---McD!
We just had cup maggi for our dinner. So, we were damn hungry at that time.
