You can easily observe that this few days there are so many ‘salesperson’ hanging around MMU, no matter where are you, u can easily find someone that wants to sell u something.
The main point of selling things is to let the students, especially Management student to learn how to sell goods and services. The idea is nice. Basically, University is just like the real world just smaller… However, the money we earn… where does it come from???

Yes~
Imagine this, taking your products and walk around the Uni area and sell it to strangers. This is when having huge connection of friends is vital. Well, basically, how many strangers will actually buy your product or services??? Not much, if you aren’t a good salesperson. Most of the time, it is from your friend, can you imagine it, your friend. (Simply means, the more friend u are having that is selling things, you are doom.)
Well, I have just started my group business for one day. I sell my products to my course mates of course, they ought to be in my target list~ How can they not be in the list?!? The 2nd on my list will be those friend I got to know through joining clubs and society… (this was my plan so far, till just now, I can force those around me to dump out a load sum of $$ just cause, we are friends, I have to search for other group of consumers, that would be the unknown group or better known as STRANGERS. Walking up to a total stranger and ask them whether they are interested in buying my goods. This don’t normally get you a buyer but, you will never know~
It could be fun asking all those strangers too, if they act in a polite way of course. Some are just rude, but, well, I guess I haven’t applied the technique of making friends with my customer. I would need to put in more effort and hide my hideous intention of just want to dig $$ out of their pocket. That feeling is a threat. And well, how would you handle threat? Simply, stop it before it even started. Oh my, Oh my! This is what I’m doing normally. Now, I have a chance to taste my own action. Selling goods require a high level of EQ. The higher your EQ means the most likely that your emotion wouldn’t be affected by anything that happens before or during the sales. When you are doing sales, you are a professional. So, means I need to act like one. (Which I’m not for now~) trying to improve my skills~ I will improve my skills. I have confidence.
Well, I think I will write more about my experience of selling later~ Don’t worry, the selling period is 3 WEEKS! I have the time to learn~ haha~
