Moral Presentation~
Well well well, it seems to be quite late to post this post, but, just to share my moral presentation with you guys~

So, on the 2nd of April, our group is the last group to present our moral presentation.
Our topic is on Business Ethics…
I will start out my story with our planning in week 2 onwards.
My group member which are Caren the leader, Ming Shuang, Alice, Angela, Yew Yin and me~
We crack our heads on how to prepare the report and presentation as we have no idea where to start off… Somehow, someone suggested on using case studies… There marks the starting point of all the story later… We discuss to use cases like China contaminated milk, fake bus ticket, Foie Gras and a lot more… At the end we sum up 6 most important and striking case to put into our report and 3 from the 6 to present it. The 3 case I mention before this is the case studies chosen for our presentation.
We face a number of difficulties along the way, but still, we manage to bring ourselves together and overcome problems bits by bits…
At last, it was the big day to present our case studies~
Instead of telling you guys what I think, why not share out some of my friend’s comment… (These comments are those that can make us improve more)
Friend A : “ It is a brilliant idea to come out with the case study~ It is more interesting when you all present it this way.”
Friend B: “It is nice, but isn’t it relatively too short?”
Friend C: “How come you guys get to know about the Foie Gras?!?”
Friend D: “Fairly well done, but only because your group members are all good presenter.”

During Q & A session, we got this question from the lecturer.
Lecturer: “Well, can you all give me another moral value other than what you all mention during the presentation?”
Us: “Sure… (Moral theory…)”
Lecturer: “Can you explain more?”
Us: “Yes, as a matter a fact, we did prepare other case studies, just that we didn’t present it. The other case studies in our reports are about the price hike of generator. After the Katrina storm landed, the electricity had been cut off. People need to use generator in order to have electricity, and the businessmen are selling those generator at a much much much higher price than the normal price. Business Ethics is saying that those businessmen could have been more considerate and don’t sell the generator with a sky high price. We are not asking the businessmen to do charity or to do a losing business, we are just asking them not to add on burden for those who are already suffering. These is what we ask for, however, there isn’t any rules or moral theory that states or really marks a guidelines an act as an ethical acts.”
Lecturer: “Good answer. Good presentation.”

Well, I guess, that marks the end of my post, huahaha~
I’m not bragging here, just to share my happiness, and of course, to keep that moment fresh in mind~
