I didnt watch the previous 2 of Underworld (which I will do later) before I watched this so I know nothing about Underworld story, and its hard to write my comment without knowing what is the actual story.

Anyhow, the atmosphere of this sequel is dark, as those vampires cant be exposed by sunlight so their mansion is dark anywhere too. What is superb in this movie is the killing effect. Maybe because I watched an unrated version and not in cinema so its not cut. All those head and body chopping, all those blood, combined with the dark theme of the movie resulted in a very realistic effect.

Oh, did I mention Rhona Mitra looks awesome, as in awesome in this movie? XD

Well, that's that. I am off to catch up about the previous 2 - Underworld and Underworld 2: Evolution.
