1st ever guitar performance

Today, we, HiCom of MMUIEM met up with Malacca IEM fellow engineers. They are all professional engineers.

We had a friendly session of bowling activity and later on we went to Equatorial Hotel, the only 5 stars hotel in Malacca I think, to have dinner together. All Nyonya dishes!

Bowling photos will have to wait. I dont have any.

Now, browse through the photos at Nyonya restaurant in a 5 stars hotel!

There's a pair of this blue lion standing guard the entrance. Cool!

Portraits of Baba and Nyonya.

Martinez acoustic guitar, brought by Mr Othman, I performed with this guitar.

Amplifier~

Menu~

1st dish: Nyonya Hot & Cold Combination

Its actually a simple dish and everyone dont find it special.

2nd dish: Sup "Kuah Oh" Seri Nyonya

Not that special also. My mom can cook better "ABC" soup.

Ikan Tempra

Nyonya Chap Chai

Udang Lemak Nenas

Ayam Lada

Sotong Fritters

Kangkung Goreng Belacan

Before me performing, IEM Malacca branch ex-chairman, Mr. Othman performed too but I didnt have any photos or recording of him.

He is a great engineer-musician! He can play piano and guitar well!

Wasted.

Photo of Mr. Othman, taken at his bungalow when we went there to practice.

This is Vinson, Ping and me preparing for the performance.

1st song:
Song name: "When You Say Nothing At All" by Ronan Keating
Guitarist: Jackson
Vocalist: Jackson and Ping
Pianist: Vinson

Was supposed to be a great "virgin" performance until the pianist screwed up the whole song (chorus and solo).

Damn!

Anyway, the performance was recorded using my phone, so quality aint good, and the audio is out-synched.

2nd song:
Song name: "Mungkin Nanti" by Peterpan
Guitarist: Jackson
Vocalist: Jackson and Ping

Forgot to ask friend to record this one, so no video for this 2nd song. Not bad though. Prepared this cause I thought there will be quite some Malays, turned out most are Chinese. Hmph.

3rd song:
Song name: "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's
Guitarist: Jackson
Vocalist: Jackson and Ping

Was quite satisfied with this last song, Hey There Delilah, but after the performance my fingers really burn.

Dont laugh if I did no good. Its my 1st time anyway, so constructive feedback is preferred!

Sorry for the noises of the video. Its not my fault. Those engineers..... they..... WTF man. Keep talking, even when Mr. Othman was performing.
