Dear All Interested Students and Researchers,

Call for Registration for MMU-Level Business Plan Competition 2009/2010

The MMU-Level Business Plan Competition 2009/2010 is open for registration now! All of you are invited to register your team participation in the attached registration form. The registration form shall be sent together with the executive summary of the project to Ms. Mastura Yahya via e-mail: mastura.yahya@mmu.edu.my or facsimile: 03-8312 5445. The closing date is 9th October 2009.

All participating teams must adhere to the following criteria in registering their participations in the MMU-Level Competition.

• Creative Multimedia Content (CMC)
• Shared Services & Outsourcing (SSO)
• Software e-Solutions (SeS): Application Software (AS) and Mobility Embedded Software & Hardware (MESH)

• MMU undergraduate students only
• Maximum 3 members in a team
• Commercialisable conceptual idea

Business Plan Category:

• MMU undergraduate and postgraduate students, researchers, academic and non-academic personnel
• Maximum 4 members in a team
• Commercialisable proof-of-concept/ preliminary prototype

• Participating teams must consist of MMU members.
• Partnering with a foreign researcher or student is allowed as long as 2/3 of the team composition is local.
• Adjunct Professors or Visiting Professors are not allowed to participate in the Competition.
• Project or product that has obtained the MSC Malaysia pre-seed fund and/or commercialised through a company is not eligible to participate in the Competition.

The registration forms of all participating teams will be sent to MMU appointed mentors for screening before the participating teams could proceed with the preparation of detailed proposals in the submission templates of the Competition. All participating teams are strongly advised to approach the appointed mentors for guidance because the up-to-date information and requirements pertaining to MSC Malaysia-IHL Business Plan Competition (MIBPC) will be cascaded down to the mentors.
