Somehow I feel that the lifespan of internet business is real short.

A social networking platform with less rubbish than what facebook has now, and planted with new web technology that gives user a new sense of user experience can wipe facebook completely out of the business.

Everything is just a few clicks away.
You can no longer build a firm relationship with the user if you can't give a physical value to the user.

So, to me, any internet business that aims at social networking is not going to last long.
They'll be replaced by something else very soon.

The direction of internet business should be the same as a physical business which is to create something real physical for the user to find real useful.

Only through this, the lifespan of the internet business can be prolonged to the same as the physical business because it's not a fashion, it's something real for the people.
