After reading all the slides, I would say HTML5 is amazing.

These are the few awesome features:

Web Storage and Database
In future, we no longer need to install any softwares into our computer.
All softwares can be accessed by opening up your browser.

The problem with current technology is that there's no offline storage for the software.
Thus you have to go online everytime you want to use it.

With local web storage and database, browser can now go into offline mode.

You can access web apps in offline mode, do your stuff and save into your pc.

X-Domain Communication
This is crazy.
This just means that different websites can now interact with each other in a real-time way.

So you might receives notification from facebook even though you're in yahoo.com or wahlaoeh.com as long as the website you're in sync the communication with facebook.

More powerful scenario can be derived from that.

Geolocation API
Yes, now your browser knows where you are.
The page you access will know where you are.

Running out of condoms when you're traveling?
Open your lappy or smartphones and google.
You might be shown the nearest store.
Hehe.

Possible scenario also includes a half virtual half real FarmVille games.
You might buy your house's land on the virtual farmville and you might need to walk to your friend's house to steal his plants!
Lol~~~

Animation, Gradient Color, 3D and more!
Yeah, it looks promising that CSS is going a revolution.
You can now do animation not by writing javascript but just a few line of codes in CSS!

Sliding, rotation, fading, gradients..
Woohoo~~

So I'm off to view Apple's tutorial on their html5.
I guess it might contain more stuffs on graphics!
