I have kind of routine Tech itchiness.

Every 3 months or so, I will run a scan about the current market of technology products.

The first scan is the price of pc hardwares.
I have a dream of building a super computer inside my own room.
But I want it at cheap price.

I hope that some time in the future, we can get a core2duo pc at RM 200 but too bad it's not happening.
They have kind of bottom line in the market.
If the price falls below that bottom line, they simply stop manufacturing it.

The second search goes to Dell's lappy and server.
Last time I think that Netbook is going to own a lot until the invention of iphone and ipad.

Apple changes the game rules.
Now I have a different opinion, I guess that tablet is the future, but only until it's equipped with a very powerful User Interface.

Lastly I will check up the price of mobile phone.
It's as easy as to buy a magazine called "Ering" at RM 6.40 and ask my daddy to share me the price list of the mobile phone.

I always question myself whether I need a better mobile phone.
I have basically lived happily with my twin Nokia 2100 for 2 years.
Yeah man, they're in black and white screen but has a super useful TORCH LIGHT!

Smart phone is still a pain in my ass.
RM 2000+ is a very big deal for me.
I can't figure out a way to earn the money back if I ever invest a smartphone.

Anyway, HTC's Wildfire is out in Malaysia at RM 1199.
It's quite a great value for me.

Any Nokia phones simply sucks a lot if you want to compare Wildfire to them.

Yeah, it's running on Android 2.1 with Froyo(2.2) updates available in this quarter.
With the heart of 500+ megahertz processor and the 3.2" inches multi touch available screen, it's simply a KO for almost all phones at that price range (or higher).

Not to say that it's coming with 5 mega pixel camera, WIFI, webkit browser and Flash.

I guess it can make a kill.
But HTC didn't market it well over here.
So it might just die quietly in Malaysia.

But if I ever ever ever meet Wildfire, I would buy it without a second thought.
I really need to feel a smartphone and explore what I can make of it.
