Went to watch Quantum of Solace with *someone-someone* today. Was expecting the cinema to be full but only the last few rows are full on 2.30pm. Maybe because its weekday.

Anyway, I did some studies about the movie before I went to the cinema. The director, Marc Forster never direct any action movie before; the main actress, Olga Kurylenko playing the character of Camille is a not-so-famous actress (though, I got the feeling I saw her before and later I know that its in Hitman); this particular Bond film doesnt really have much sexy, blood-boiling scenes between Bond and actress compared to all the previous series.

Quantum of Solace continues from where Bond is betrayed by the woman he loved, Vesper (in the previous series, Casino Royale) and seeks out revenge. In a series of event, he met Camille the main actress, who then lead him to Dominic Greene, the main antagonist in this episode. Dominic is a ruthless business who is plotting to seize control of a valuable resource. Bla bla bla.

I will suggest all of you who havent watch this movie to FIRST re-watch (or watch, if you never watch before) Casino Royale to get a better understanding with the story development in Quantum of Solace. Otherwise, you will get very confused with the plot and conversations.

This episode features a different type of Bond as seen in previous series, mainly because at the start of movie, Bond's heart is filled with hatred and seeks to kill those who are related to Vesper's death. It contradicts with the cool, smarty Bond with a lot of interesting gadgets you watched before. Though, different doesnt means not good, and this movie is not bad. I dont really like Daniel starring as Bond because he doesnt have the Bond-look that I was imprinted with since young, but he's really a good actor that can deliver something beyond what you expect (other than his face la).

Anyway, if you are a Bond-fans, you wouldnt want to miss this movie. If you are not Bond fans, this movie is worth to watch too with its intensity, thrills and suspense!

Oh and by the way, today is a happy day! I sorta have sore-throat due to excess talking today but I am still happy because I got to date and see the *someone-someone*! XD
