After reading a write-up on Kuala Gandah National  Elephant Conservation  Centre in Lanchang, Pahang in Sin Chew Daily,   we decided to visit this place.

We, three of us, mummy and also ‘xiao zai’  Vvy  started our trip on one of the Saturday  morning.

We reached Bukit Tinggi after about 4 ½ hour  drive. It was lunch hour, so we stopped at Bukit Tinggi for lunch. The drive was relax and enjoyable as Vvy also helped to take over the driver’s seat.

Arrived at Mersing jetty at around 10 am. It was still too early. The boat was supposed to depart at 12.30 pm.  The Resort Mersing office was still closed. So we went around Mersing town for a cup of tea. Actually there isn’t much change since we last  visited this town when we went to Pulau Tioman few years ago.

We bought some ‘duku’ fruits and had them at the seaside just to kill time.

Second day of Hari Raya and my parents decided to visit my sister in Singapore.

Typical Singaporean, kiasu with 2 GPS!!
